During the trip we did a lot of road trips, sightseeing, short walks, and tried different local foods. The scenery was amazing with mountains, beaches, and small towns. It was a great way to relax after exams and spend some quality time with friends away from the busy city.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Hobart & Mount Wellington

We flew to Hobart, Tasmania with Jetstar. Since I am studying in Australia, I already have a visa so travelling was easier. After arriving at airport, we picked up our rental car and started exploring the city.

We visited Battery Point, a historic area with charming old houses, and then drove up to Mount Wellington to enjoy the beautiful view of Hobart from the top. Later, we bought some groceries before heading back to our Airbnb to rest.

Day 2 - Eaglehawk Neck & Tasman National Park

On the second day, we drove to Eaglehawk Neck, which is famous for its dramatic coastal landscapes.

We visited several natural attractions including Tasman Arch, Devil’s Kitchen, and Waterfall Bay. We also explored Tasman National Park and enjoyed the stunning ocean views and cliffs along the coastline.

Day 3 - Bruny Island Adventure

We checked out of our Airbnb and moved to another accommodation. After that, we travelled to Bruny Island.

During the trip we stopped to buy fresh bread and continued to Adventure Bay where we bought some chocolate. Later, we explored South Bruny National Park and visited the lighthouse for scenic coastal views.

We also enjoyed fresh oysters before having a meal at Little Borneo restaurant.

Day 4 - Launceston & Cataract Gorge

On the fourth day, we travelled to Launceston and visited Cataract Gorge Reserve.

We took the cable car and enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery. Afterwards, we went to the West Launceston area and visited Aspect Tamar Valley Resort.

We spent some time relaxing, eating ice cream, and enjoying the peaceful views of the surrounding nature.

Day 5 - Cradle Mountain

On the final day, we visited Cradle Mountain, one of the most famous natural attractions in Tasmania.

The area is known for its beautiful mountains, lakes, and walking trails. We spent time exploring the scenery and enjoying the peaceful environment before ending our trip.
