From our Airbnb, we took the train to Hallstatt, a beautiful lakeside village known for its stunning mountain scenery. The train journey there was very scenic and enjoyable.
We spent the whole day exploring Hallstatt, walking around the village and enjoying the breathtaking views. The weather was quite cold, so we bought hot chocolate to warm up and also had kebabs for a quick meal.
On the second day, we visited Salzburg. We spent the day strolling around the city and enjoying its historic streets and architecture.
Later, we stopped for dessert at Wirtshaus Elefant where we tried apple pie and berry desserts.
On our final day in Austria, we explored Vienna. We visited the famous Schönbrunn Palace and the Palace of Justice.
We also spent some time visiting chocolate shops around the city. For our meal, we went to Mussty Food Point where we ordered many different dishes such as pizza, pasta, burgers, and steak. The food was very satisfying.
The next day, we continued our journey and travelled to Italy.
Even though our time in Austria was short, it was filled with beautiful moments and memorable places. From the peaceful scenery of Hallstatt to the historic charm of Salzburg and the elegance of Vienna, each destination offered something unique.
Austria felt calm, scenic, and culturally rich, making it a wonderful part of our European journey.
