Itinerary

Arrival

We travelled from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai, Thailand by train. After crossing the border, a travel agent picked us up from the train station and helped us with the immigration process. After everything was completed, we went to our hotel to check in and rest for a while.

Day 1 - Hat Yai Market Walk

In the evening, around 7 pm, we went for a walk at Amphoe Hat Yai market. There were many food stalls selling local Thai food.

Because Hat Yai is close to the Malaysian border, many of the citizens are Muslim, so it was easy for us to find halal food. We bought many different foods and enjoyed experiencing the local food culture.

Day 2 - Food Hunting Around the City

On the second day, we took a tuk-tuk to our first destination, Chabura Dimsum. The dim sum was very cheap and delicious, so we ordered quite a lot.

After that, we visited 7-Eleven and Watsons to look around. Suddenly it started raining, so we bought ponchos because we still wanted to continue walking to our next food hunting spot.

Later, we went to Nom6 to try bingsu. The dessert was very good, so we shared two bowls of bingsu among six people. We also ordered fries and toasted bread as savoury snacks.

After walking around the city for a while, we tried the viral Toro Fries, which are very long fries served with different sauces. At the end of the day, we went to a market to buy souvenirs. At night, our parents went to a massage place to relax.

Day 3 - Hat Yai Park, Songkhla & Floating Market

On the third day, we visited Hat Yai Park in the morning. After that, we had lunch in Songkhla at Boyang.

Later, we went to Hat Samila Beach to enjoy the sea view. We also visited the Songkhla Central Mosque before going to the Khlong Hae Floating Market.

At night, we ended the day by going for another massage before returning to the hotel.
